2016 has brought the arrival of the brilliant Edge & Son Butchers in our Dockside butchery concession. the butchers has been run by the Edge family in New Ferry Wirral since 1844. They are amongst of dwindling elite butchers (only 9 in the whole country) that still slaughter and mature on site.
To sum up they take the very best local, free range, British, native and rare-breed livestock that has been traditionally bred and naturally farmed and fed. They compassionately handle the animals and then expertly butcher and hang the meat. The results speak for themselves. The meat is delicious. You need to come down and taste it yourself.
Open 7 days a week. the butchery counter is open until 6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. And until 6:30pm Thursday, Friday Saturday and 4:30pm on Sundays.
The rest of the time there are pre-packed products available and you can always ring and order anything thing you require no matter how unusual!
